| djua Salt Mining Company Limited is located at
Takoradi some 230 km west from Accra. The company
which has three years in operation. Covers an area of
31.84 hectares (78.60 acres) at Adjua near Apowa in
the Ahanata west District of the Western Region of
Ghana. The concession lies between latitude 4o 51 and
4 o 53 and longitude 1 49 and 1 and 50.
The concession is readily accessible by motor road
through Apowa which lies on the trunk road from Apowa
to Adjua village and a third class road leaves Adjua
directly to the concession. It is also readily
accessible by the sea. |
